We, at St. John's, are always concerned about your health and well-being, especially during this flu season.  Therefore we encourage you to:

Ø      BE SMART 

-         Please stay home if you believe that you might be contagious.

-         Cough or sneeze into a kleenex or into your elbow. 

-         Avoid touching your face as much as possible. 

-         Wash your hands after worship – remembering the 20-second rule. 

-         Be encouraged to use hand sanitizer – either your own or that which we have provided in the narthex, in Fritze Hallway, and in various other places around the church. 

Ø      BE COMFORTABLE

-         If you don’t feel comfortable shaking hands, then consider alternative ways of greeting one another, with or without physical contact.  

-         Know that Pastor Martha is using hand sanitizer just prior to communion.

-         Be aware that we are discontinuing communion by intinction in all services, at least until flu season is over.

-         If you don’t wish to greet others by touch, then please feel welcomed just to be seated at the time of Passing the Peace.

Ø      AND BE RESPECTFUL

-     If others wish not to share the peace or shake your hand, please respect their choice, realizing that it’s their right not to do so and not a reflection upon you!
